This class runs from 1.30pm – 4.30pm, on Monday 9th November, in our all access studio in Moseley School of Art.
Under Lenora’s guidance you will make Porcelain Christmas decorations, that we will get fired for you to collect in time for Christmas.
Class sizes are limited to 5 students and the teacher, in order to follow government advice on social distancing.
Clay can be messy, so please dress for outdoor play.
Bring a clean wipeable apron and an old hand towel to each class.
Long nails can really inhibit your creativity with clay, so do remember to trim them.
The last 20 minutes of each class is dedicated to cleaning up.
We take everyone’s health and safety very seriously!
Anyone in self-isolation or with COVID-19 symptoms must NOT visit the studio.
The heated studio has large windows, that will be open, and there will be an extractor on.
Masks must be worn in the studio at all times.
Hand Sanitizer must be used before you enter the studio, and when you leave.
We charge a £5 non-refunable deposit for each class. This deposit covers if we have to cancel the class due to Covid19 restrictions escalating, and any changes in legislation. It also covers if you cancel the class.
We are delighted to announce a series of Porcelain Christmas Decoration making workshops, running from mid-November, in our Moseley School of Art Studio.
Lenora Minto is a Ceramic Artist, working in Porcelain, who has run pottery studios, both in Birmingham and Spain, where she has taught pottery classes over many years!
She specializes in working with Porcelain, the “Queen” of clays, and will happily share her skills with you during this three hour workshop.
Far from calling porcelain “difficult”, Lenora proudly states, “It is just another clay! There really are no secrets!”
