Introducing Ian :)

“I started making pottery at school – failed at O level but carried on regardless. Started doing Adult Education classes, bought a kick wheel in my teens and used to throw at home and take my dried out work back to the class for firing.

I then moved around, always finding drop-in centres or Adult Ed in Lancaster, London or Birmingham when I returned home. I used to have a studio pass at the Mac before it was renovated and now have finally found my ‘spiritual home’ at Sundragon where I can happily throw into the early hours of the morning and mix with a wonderful selection of down to earth people sharing a love of clay!”
